Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 August 2026
1. Provider and scope
KanbanTi is provided by NETZSPINNEREI e.U., Daniel Letschka, Josef-Bichler-Straße 19, 3107 St. Pölten, Austria (“KanbanTi”, “we” or “us”). Contact: hello@kanbanti.app.
These terms govern the creation and use of a KanbanTi account. Mandatory statutory rights, particularly consumer rights, remain unaffected.
2. The service
KanbanTi provides a personal Kanban board with custom columns, tasks, labels, task archiving, manual time entries, task timers and optional timed sessions with automatic stopping and browser notifications.
We may improve or change the service where this does not materially reduce the core functionality you purchased. Material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
3. Account and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. Each account is personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred without our consent.
You must have the legal capacity required to enter into this agreement. If you use KanbanTi for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
4. Trial
New accounts receive a free 30-day trial. No payment details are required to begin the trial. The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. After it ends, a paid subscription is required for continued access to subscription features.
We may refuse repeated trials intended to circumvent the trial limitation.
5. Subscription and payment
Paid access is offered as an annual subscription at the price shown before checkout. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and seller for the transaction, processes payment and taxes, and provides the applicable checkout terms and buyer information. Paddle's buyer terms presented during checkout also apply to the purchase.
The subscription renews according to the terms displayed and accepted during Paddle checkout. Prices include VAT where applicable. We will clearly communicate material price changes before they apply to a renewal.
6. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
You may cancel renewal at any time through the Paddle customer portal. Unless the checkout terms or mandatory law provide otherwise, access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Consumer withdrawal and refund rights are governed by mandatory law and the buyer terms presented by Paddle. Nothing in these terms excludes those rights. Refund requests and billing issues can be submitted through Paddle or to hello@kanbanti.app.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use KanbanTi to break the law or third-party rights; upload malicious code; probe, disrupt or bypass security; scrape or overload the service; gain unauthorised access; or use the service to store unlawful, infringing or abusive material.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material breach. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
8. Your content
You retain your rights in the task and time-tracking content you enter. You grant us the limited right to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as necessary to operate, secure and support KanbanTi.
You are responsible for having the necessary rights to content you submit and for maintaining any exports or additional copies you require.
9. Availability and maintenance
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures and circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect access. Planned material maintenance will be announced where reasonably possible.
10. Intellectual property
KanbanTi, its software, design, branding and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose during your trial or paid access period.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation where liability cannot legally be limited, including for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Statutory warranty rights and mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
Time records and notifications are productivity aids. You remain responsible for checking records used for billing, tax, employment or other legally significant purposes.
12. Termination and data
You may request account deletion by emailing hello@kanbanti.app. We may terminate an account for a material breach, subject to mandatory law and reasonable notice where appropriate.
After termination, access ends and account data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Please retain any information you need before requesting deletion.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, security or service-related reasons. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated in a durable form with reasonable notice. Mandatory rights regarding amendments remain unaffected.
14. Applicable law
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the country in which you habitually reside. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply.
